Cogent Labs selected for the government project “Visionary Management 2021”

What is “Visionary Management 2021”?

This is a government project that aims to share the know-how and benefits of hiring IT professionals by selecting about 100 companies from all over Japan that are working on a new management method of hiring highly skilled foreign IT professionals, and publishing the interviews with the managers in the form of videos and e-books. The aim of this government project is to share the know-how and benefits of accepting human resources widely. The aim of this project is to improve Japan’s technological capabilities, revitalize the Japanese economy, and expand the employment of high-level foreign human resources to achieve these goals.

They have selected companies from various regions, industries, and corporate sizes that are hiring a wide range of excellent human resources without being concerned about nationality or Japanese language ability. We have compiled and published case studies of the management’s thinking, the reasons for their efforts, the advantages and disadvantages, and the specific ways in which they have proceeded, with the aim of providing a reference for many other companies that are considering building organizations with diverse human resources with similar guidelines.
